WE ARE THE THIRD GENERATION OF A FAMILY PASSIONATE ABOUT JAMÓN IBÉRICO

Our paternal grandparents founded, in 1950, a small butchers in Toledo. There began a marvelous love story with jamón ibérico. Slowly the business grew and the company stopped being in the families hands to become part of a multinational corporation.

We are siblings and passionate about the Countryside and Jamón Ibérico.

We didn’t want to loose our Family Tradition and almost 10 years ago, we embarked in a complex but marvelous adventure and founded LA EMBAJADA DEL JAMÓN.

Our clear objective is to preserve the artisan knowhow from our grandparents and add it to everything learnt during our long years of experience and observation living in different countries.

For this, we bet on what we consider the best setting: the heart of the Valle de Los Pedroches, the most sophisticated Protected Designation of Origin, and the largest Dehesa in the world. We knew clearly that our jamones ibéricos should breathe this air, in a characterful curing room and following an artisanal process, with a lot of care and without hurry.

Our jamones, embutidos and iberian meats are the result of this added value.

WE THINK A LOT ABOUT THE TYPE OF COMPANY AND WORLD THAT WE WANT TO LEAVE BEHIND FOR OUR KIDS.

Now, the concept of sustainability is very entrenched in Spain and we are proud to have been sustainability pioneers in our industry.

Our commitment to the Environment has been present in each of our decisions since the very beginning:

  • Consumption of renewable energy exclusively
  • Our boxes are 100% recycled cardboard without varnish nor plastic
  • The vacuum sealed bags, still require plastic; but nevertheless, we have managed to reduce it to the minimum weight possible, reinforcing it with Kraft paper…

No detail escapes our commitment, EVERYTHING we can think of and is in our hands to contribute to the care and protection of our planet.
